About this vessel
Fishing, days out with family and friends, diving, even a weekend on the water, the Scarab 30 Side Console Sports Boat is equipped for it all. With the twin 300hp Mercury XS Engines, she will blast along upwards of 40knots, getting you there quickly and memorably. It’s so much fun to drive you might blast past your local anchorage to the next one just for a bit more time behind the helm.
The aft cockpit is loaded with all the fishing necessities; tackle drawers, plenty of space, rod holders in the transom and 6 rocket launchers across the T-top, deck wash, dedicated sink at the stern and an 80l live-bait tank, rod storage in the side wells and padded combings, below foot there are two huge fish/iceboxes. The whole area is lit by fore and aft floodlights and it is obvious a lot of this vessel was designed with an offshore fishing trip in mind.
However, the Scarab 30 is also appointed with a double cabin upfront, an excellent wet bar grill area on the port side, with a second sink, electric grill, a large storage draw and another large draw fridge. The bow could easily host six people with a removable table adding to the versatility, all of this makes the Scarab an excellent overnight/day boat.
The side console provides an excellent driving position with the bench seat as standard for pleasure cruising around the bays or alternatively it can flip and convert into a twin racing bolster which when running quickly through a chop keeps you firmly in place and up high to see over the bow. The helm has been colour coordinated with the striking red hull/bimini and sports red accents for the Raymarine E120 GPS/Depth sounder screens, backing plates and throttle/gear controls. Finally, under the helm station is a roomy head/shower area to complete the overnighting option.
Freshly detailed and off the slips she’s ready to rumble and blast you off on your next adventure.
