The 52 Predator is a rare breed. An instant head-turner in any waters, the combination of precision craftsmanship and cutting edge design ensure unrivalled performance in the sports yacht category. Uniquely styled and thoughtfully crafted this stunning British motor yacht will impress the most discerning of buyers.

“Lil La” is an exceptionally presented vessel that has benefitted from an owner that takes absolute pride and love for her. This is evident not only in her ongoing maintenance regime, (which is second to none) but the upgrades, the interior decorating, the options fitted, the interior and exterior conditions; are a testament to her current owners understanding of what makes an already impressive vessel something truly special.

Whilst being the epitome of British built luxury yachts it’s almost like the Sunseeker design team had Australian Boating in mind when designing the Predator 52. Its design elements are perfectly suited to indoor/outdoor living thanks to the stainless framed sliding saloon door that creates a seamless transition from the cockpit, through to the saloon to the helm position.

Starting outdoors, this fine Sunseeker 52 Predator combines long sweeping lines with staunch freeboard and stature giving her the feeling of a much larger boat from the dock without being too bulky. Her two-tone navy and white adds elegance and contributes to the stand out aesthetics “Lil La” is known for.

The teak-laid hydraulic swim platform makes for easy launch retrieval of the tender or jet ski. Once the toy is launched this submersible platform allows easy water access swimming access or a shallow swim area for the little ones. On a hot Summer day simply set up the deck chairs and enjoy a sundowner or a fish with your toes in the water at your favourite anchorage.

Moving up to the cockpit the first thing you will notice is the stylish symmetrical teak-laid steps to port and starboard, each donned with stainless access gates. The lounge is the centrepiece of the aft living area and is the perfect place to lounge around reading the paper or share a meal with friends on the French polished teak dining table. This seating lounge also converts to a day bed for those ready for the ultimate relaxation time.

Perfect for the Australian elements “Lil La” is fitted with a custom stainless framed aft Bimini cover off the hardtop with clear winglets for wind protection. This is perfectly designed feature is in keeping with the lines of the boat and gives her owners the much-needed weather protection in all environments. No retracting the awning if the wind is blowing here.

To ensure everything is at your fingertips the cockpit is fitted with 2 moulded stations to port and starboard of the saloon door. The starboard station houses a near new ice maker, a new electric grille, an icebox and a sink, all without going inside! The current owner also went to the trouble of getting the port station custom built in the exact same styling as the factory styling to cater for twin huge volume drinks fridges.

Access to the foredeck is granted from the generous walk-around decks. The high bulwarks, stainless rail and safety lines ensure secure access for those looking to catch some ray on the double sunbed on the bow.

Moving through the generous saloon the abundance of light and glass makes her feel open and airy. A dining/lounge suite to starboard and a popup TV and storage to port ensure all-weather boating and entertainment. The current owner upgraded an array of surfaces to marble to further enhance the feeling of luxury this fine vessel exudes and the quality of the craftsmanship has to be seen to be believed.

The saloon and helm areas are under a king-size retractable hardtop to give this Predator the true sports cruiser feel of an open-top sports car while underway.

Operating a vessel of this size is a breeze with this accommodating helm position. Visibility is abundant around the entire vessel and the electronic controls and bow and stern thruster allow for easy tight quarter manoeuvring. The Raymarine electronics package with twin screens, MAN multi-functional displays, autopilot, remote spotlight, remote anchor switches and an array of gauges give the skipper the ultimate command from a comfortable twin helm position.

A couple of steps down to the domestic proportioned galley the chef will be impressed with the Sunseeker design allowing this space to be flooded with natural light as it is still under the windscreen and sunroof above. Get ready to cook up a storm in and style as the upgrades and options continue. The galley has been fitted with a new convection steam and microwave oven and dishwasher in recent months along with marble benchtops, a sink and a 240v cooktop as Sunseeker standard.

With families looking to spend time onboard together, accommodation is becoming increasingly important, particularly for longer stints cruising or “Working from Home” The accommodation on the Sunseeker predator 52 is second to none boasting 3 separate staterooms. The forward VIP guest suite could be mistaken for the master with a queen island bed centre and ample storage throughout. Guests are treated to the stateroom having ensuite access to the bathroom and day head allowing for ultimate privacy. The twin bunk stateroom to starboard is perfect for stowaways and can comfortably sleep 2 adults or allows for extra storage if just 2 couples are onboard. Moving back aft to midships is where you will find the ultimate comfort with a full-beam master stateroom. Oozing space and luxury appointments, the master comprises of a king bed offset centre, storage galore, an oversized wardrobe, desk area, mounted TV and of course a separate head with a separate shower stall. This owners retreat is the perfect place to escape and relax while taking in the water vistas out the triple vertical portholes.

The Sunseeker Predator is a sports yacht at heart and hence is matched with a pair of whopping 800HP MAN diesel engines with very low hours and impeccable service history. Whilst the Predator is performance-driven and can reach in excess of 30knots, she’s also designed with economy in mind and can comfortably cruise in the mid-20kts range or has a comfortable of 21.2kts at 1800RPM giving her a safe usable range of over 275nm.

Lil La is an incredibly presented vessel and has benefited from loving owners her entire life and it shows. She’s a striking vessel and will not disappoint on inspection.

Brokers Comments

The Predator 52 is the perfect size boat to owner operates without compromise. The model ticks all the boxes; Full beam master, 3 cabins, diesel shafts, bow and stern thrusters and A/C. “Lil La’ however, takes the Predator one step further. She’s immaculate in every respect and boasts a quiver of options and upgrades that make her a boat to be proud of.
