2021 so far has been kind to us here at BBM Yacht Sales. The COVID driven demand for quality boats along with a dynamic Brokerage and Yacht Management team has lead to some staggering sales results that we are truly proud of, Winter is on its way and is great for quiet waterways, calmer winds and sun we love to bask in and we’re not seeing any signs of slowing down. Plenty of our lucky clients are seizing the opportunity to find warmer water and heading north to explore what the East Coast has to offer.
Going from strength to strength our growing sales team has been delivering outstanding results and developed some fantastic relationships over the past few months. We have seen an incredible amount of inquiry across all of our listings throughout 2021 so far and I don’t see it slowing down any time soon. The great thing for us and our vendors is most of this interest is through our database and website, not the online sales platforms. This proves the power of these wonderful communication mediums and bolsters the importance and one of the many upsides of utilising the services of an established brokerage in the modern online advertising world. As quality stock is hard to get your hands on, matching our database of buyers with our database of boat owners, both of which have been developed over many years of numerous BBM service offerings, is allowing us to place the right buyer in the right boat without going to market.

Interestingly enough we’ve also been noticing a trend of interest from interstate and it’s been great to use modern technology to help buyers overcome some of the geographical hurdles of buying a boat interstate. Offering extensive video walkthroughs, remote sea trials, and partnering with reputable surveyors and tradespeople has allowed remote buyers to go into a purchase with confidence when the tyranny of distance may otherwise have made the process daunting. This is a win-win for both purchaser and vendor and all part of the BBM Yacht Sales strive for continuous improvement.
