About this vessel
Mystic Moods is an iconic vessel on the Port Hacking with her striking lines and traditional flair.
A large volume, gorgeous displacement cruiser, extremely well maintained and fitted with a pair of solid Caterpillar 3208 diesel, shaft-drive engines.
You have your choice of entertaining areas aboard Mystic Moods. Up top, there is the flybridge, with a dual bench seat facing forward and lounges down both sides. A layout like this really allows the Skipper to be part of the conversations. Aft of the helm bench seat is a teak fold-away table for the canapés, wines and laughs. The flybridge on Mystic Moods is the dream area to feel on top of the world, kick-back and watch the sun go down.
Down the flybridge ladder and into the teak-laid aft cockpit area of the Pacific 40 is the second great spot if you would prefer to dine at water level or to hang out next to the water on a summer’s day. Above, she has a fitted bimini with heavy-duty stainless-steel supports. Whether it be for boarding from the tender or diving in at the local anchorage, Mystic Moods is fitted with a transom door to allow easy access in and out of the cockpit to the teak swim-deck This simple feature is something a few older vessels missed out on and is a must-have in many peoples opinion. Another often overlooked feature are the transom walls. They are high and especially safe for the kids to play with little risk of toppling overboard. There are also spacious rope/fender storage lockers down both sides and a washdown fitted on the stern.
Access to the interior is through a large sliding door so the swing does not intrude on either area. This great feature opens up the interior and provides a free-flowing atmosphere to the vessel. Whether you’re catching dinner off the deck or reading a book on the lounge in the bright saloon there’s never a feeling of separation. Of course, if you would like some downtime and privacy from the rest of the guests onboard continue through the saloon, past the helm to starboard and down into the forward area of the vessel. Immediately to port, there is a full-sized queen bed with a seat and hanging locker, a double (or two singles) in the forepeak and a modern head to starboard. This whole area feels extremely bright, spacious, and inviting with an abundance of natural light from the portholes and deck hatch.
Over the years Mystic Moods has benefitted from a loving pair of owners who have continuously maintained and improved this flybridge Pacific 40. Give us a call to come and check her out and run through the vessel in detail.
