The 26ft Maxi 77 class of sailing yachts is world renowned and a very popular small racing class, she has a low centre of gravity and is fast in most winds! Over 3900 of these pocket rocket weapons were built.
With a large comfortable interior for a 25ft yacht, she is also equipped to spend a few nights aboard cruising with a sink, stove and toilet. Accommodation is comprised of a vee-berth forward, two singles in the saloon and a pilot berth extending under the cockpit.
Knot-a-Clew sports a brand new Volvo Diesel engine, saildrive and engine starting panel & instrumentation with less than 6 hours use – fitted late 2017.
Her rigging has been professionally upgraded in late 2017 including brand new roller furling forestay and new halyards. The topsides have also been refurbished at this time including new mast lights, both the hull and deck repainted and new acrylic windows fitted.
