'Sportscruiser' is a label often applied with little regard to its true meaning. However, with the comforts of a cruiser and the get-up and go of a sportsboat, the Riviera M430 is the real deal.
The beloved M430 is dressed to impress with her long arrow bow, dark hull and raked lines. Looks, however, can be deceiving as this 47ft sports cruiser also boast the volume and luxuries of a similar-sized cruiser.
After accessing this weapon from the swim deck you begin to notice the sheer volume of the famed Riviera. You will spot the helm position past the teak cockpit in the distance to starboard and notice the lounges and upper dining table to starboard that could seat 6-8 adults comfortably. The port side of this open plan and spacious cockpit you’ll find a fridge and an ice maker for keeping the important things cool.
Down below this Riviera oozes luxury. Looking at the boat from the water you would never expect the volume, headroom and space the M430 delivers. Fully airconditioned and sporting 2 separate staterooms at opposite ends of the boat ensures privacy and seclusion.
The domestic proportioned galley and dining table and separated shower and head give you and your guests the comforts of home and a place for the kids to hang out while the adults socialise upstairs. The master forward boasts an island queen bed and plenty of storage to pack your clothes for the week away.
Powered by very well-maintained twin 8.1L Mercruisers sets the M430 apart from your standard sports cruiser. This thing means business. Hammering across the harbour or up the coast is child’s play and the design of the hull and rear-mounted engines allow this weapon to slice through chop and swell with ease. The bow thruster assists in tight manoeuvring in a wind, however, the drives allow for such responsive steering that you feel like you’re driving a sports car more than a 47-foot boat.
The generator onboard powers all your 240v needs including the electric cooktop, Air-Con, Battery Charger etc. The house 12v systems will run the rest of the vessels systems with ease.
Loaded with too many features to mention this gorgeous vessel needs to be inspected to be appreciated.
