Interior
Starting with the accommodation areas, the 3350's master stateroom is located in the bow, a queen-sized berth with steps up and storage below. If there’s a generous breeze pop open the tinted deck hatch for some ventilation or close her up and enjoy the comfortable A/C this vessel offers. Stepping back from the Master to Starboard is the head area. Access is granted from both the companionway for guests or from the stateroom itself. The separate shower stall with pressurised hot and cold water ensures comfort and homeliness. The Vacuflush toilet and vanity are standard luxuries you find in a Riviera. Opposite the head to port is the galley. This area is fully appointed with an electric stove, microwave, fridge and icebox (running off 240v and 12v), 12v lighting throughout and an AC powerpoint for your choice of Nespresso in the morning.
Two steps lead back up into the main saloon where you’ll find the lower helm station is located to starboard; perfect if it’s rough offshore and you’d rather be lower on the vessel for comfort. It also allows you to be part of the action in the saloon while underway. Or, if you’re solo or shorthanded, the lower helm allows you quick access to the cockpit for grabbing lines or landing fish.
The generous U-shaped dinette to port can comfortably seat five guests for a comfortable meal or can convert into a large double bed for those unexpected stowaways. Ample storage is provided behind the helm station along the starboard side.
Outdoor Living:
Step outside, breathe in that fresh air and take in your surroundings. Boating is an outdoor activity and Riviera knows that. The 3350 has a generous cockpit with access through a walk-through transom door to the swim platform ready for your morning dip or playing with the kids. There is a eutectic fridge to keep the drinks cool and a sink (doubling as engine room access, as standard on all Rivieras) along the saloon/cockpit bulkhead. The three lazarette lockers below the cockpit floor make for ample storage for a table and chairs or BBQ when not in use. There are also storage lockers in both starboard and port bulkheads for fenders, ropes and fishing gear.
The moulded steps and S/S grab rails grant access to the side decks and the S/S handrails continue along the top of the cabin windows to take you to the bow. On the bow you can top up the tan, tie-down a tender using the built-in tie-down point and operate the windlass from the deck controls, making anchoring as a team a dream.
Lastly, we take the ladder on the port side of the cockpit up to the flybridge. The bridge is spacious with a moulded helm console. Visibility is excellent both forward and aft and the view of the waterways from up here is truly outstanding. From up here, you have complete control of the vessel due to the Birdseye view around the boat which is comforting when close-quarter manoeuvring.
The 3350 is such a popular and stylish flybridge cruiser. It packs all the big boat features and Riviera Luxury into a comfortable family cruiser that is also capable of some long-range cruising or offshore fishing without the same running costs or entry costs as a bigger boat. They were a hit when they were released and not much has changed.
Brokers Comments
Often mistaken for the 3850, the 3350 shares the same lines and finish as the older brother but in a concise and nimble package. The generous cockpit is something you’d expect out of a 36 and the general volume is very impressive. This Riviera is extremely clean and would suit a fastidious buyer looking for modern, tidy and low maintenance boat without the price tag.
